The Southern African Leadership Development and Training Institute or SALDaTI for short, has been in the making for the past couple of years. Coincidentally, the Italian meaning of SALDaTI is to solder or as we would like to interpret it, the fusion of people and ideas to create and to add value.

I have been in business all my life and have operated in Services, Manufacturing and Retail, with my last two Executive assignments in the last two mentioned industries. My passion has always been people development though, which ranged from being involved in lecturing or developing curricula as accredited facilitator and assessor at company business school level, to lecturing at University and University Business School level.

I am proud to now head up SALDaTI, where our mission is to partner with Southern African organisations to help grow their leaders to have a positive impact on their personal lives and organisational results. Our business scope includes non-profit and for-profit organisations. SALDaTI is born and bred African and our focus is on Leadership Development and Training in Southern Africa. This was also the geographical scope of my PhD studies in leadership development over the past 5 years. Leadership development is at the core of everything we do, either from a Consulting, Customised Solutions and Generic Solutions point of view.

Our course topics have been carefully researched and chosen, by combining Eurocentric and Afrocentric research that works for our geographical context in Southern Africa. I would like to think of myself as a ‘pracademic’ who combines empirical research and practical execution, with the latter being the proverbial ‘acid test’. Our product and service offerings are therefore solid and will add real value to your leaders and to your organisation. This would not be complete though if we finally, and most importantly, did not listen to your needs and requirements.
